As we all know, we usually see beautiful patterns on flat tempered glass sheet products, which are produced by silk screen printing technology. aluminum bifold doors is a process in glass fabricating. The silk screen master paints the required pattern on the tempered glass sheet surface. Tempered glass silk screen print is divided into high temperature silk screen printing and low temperature silk screen printing. These two screen printing methods have similarities and differences.
Different applications of tempered glass sheets require different silk screen printing methods. High-temperature silk screen-printed tempered glass product is mainly placed outdoors. The high temperature ink printed on it will not fall off and cannot be scraped off even with sharp objects. Low-temperature silk screen printing is generally used on electronic products, and the ink can be scraped off with sharp objects.
High-temperature silk screen printing requires special high-temperature printing ink. After the glass sheet is cut and the edges are ground, high-temperature silk screen printing can be carried out. After silk screen printing, the glass sheet needs to be tempered immediately, otherwise the ink will fall off easily. After tempering, the ink will not fall off.
Tempered Glass Sheets Where High Temperature Silk Screen Print is Applied:
Low-temperature silk screen printing is performed after the glass sheet is tempered. The ink for silk screen printing uses low-temperature ink. A curing agent needs to be added to the ink and then dried. The tempered glass for low-temperature silk screen printing should try to avoid contact with other objects to prevent the ink from being scratched off.
After the high-temperature ink is tempered, the ink is firmly bonded to the glass surface. It can be said to be a part of the tempered glass. There is no way to clean the ink on it. It will stay with the glass for life.
Tempered Glass Sheets Where Low Temperature Silk Screen Print is Applied:
Generally, tempered glass silk screen printing is using a low-temperature silk screen printing. The pattern printed on the tempered glass surface through the low-temperature silk screen printing can be used for 3-5 years.
